A lifelong supporter of the United States Armed Forces, Darlene Krebs has called Rochester home for over 30 years. A proud mother of three, she comes from a deep-rooted military family—daughter, granddaughter, sister, and niece to United States Marines, as well as an aunt to a U.S. Army soldier and niece to a Navy service member.
Darlene is a graduate of Century High School, Class of 2000, and served as the Senior Vice President and Treasurer of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary. In this role, she worked closely with the local detachment to raise funds that support both past and present Marine families. She also helped organize community fundraisers and events that directly benefit those who serve.
As the Chaplain for the Marine Corps League and President of the Rochester Veterans Memorial Association, Darlene brings compassion, leadership, and a deep sense of purpose to her work. Her commitment to honoring veterans extends to her role as a volunteer on the Soldiers Field Memorial Committee, where she helps preserve the memory and sacrifices of local service members.
“This is my way of serving. I am the daughter, granddaughter, sister, and niece to Marines and did not serve myself,” Darlene says. “So, this is my way of giving back.”
Over the years, Darlene has generously volunteered her time with a wide range of military-related causes and venues. Her unwavering dedication and service-minded spirit continue to make a meaningful impact on the Rochester veteran community.
