For many years Mike has used his talents to make videos, CDs, and photos for the memorial Committee. The work he did was always in the background and he never received the credit he deserved. He spent countless hours using his talent and equipment at no charge to the committee.
After many years he was invited to join the committee as they already had figured him a member and part of the family because of the work he had done and continues to do.
Mike was instrumental in setting up a Facebook page for the memorial and has been a dedicated member for more than 20 years.
Mike’s support of military members and veterans doesn’t stop with Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial. He is also active in a variety of veteran support organizations including Tee It Up for the Troops, Scott Hosier’s Roundtable, the Minnesota Veteran and Emergency Services Museum, and more. Mike has also been on all 10 honor flights, chronicling them through video and photography.
